Livingroom was tonight.

GREAT livingroom...

We're reading Francis Chan's 'Crazy Love' and this was my one major thought for the night.

If you're the kind of person who likes Jesus, this one's for you.

'Those who have been convicted have been judged and are required to do that which the judge sets down.'

In other words, if you are feeling convicted by something, it means that you've been judged guilty of that thing, and you are subject to the judgment of the judge.  By law, you are required to do the biding of the judge, whether you like it or not...(1 Thessalonians 1:4-5, Hebrews 12:23)

Heavy duty stuff, if I may say so.

The challenge I face is to submit to the judge and do the thing that He has convicted me of...

You?

Moving slowly...

Move slowly, with calculated intent.

Move slowly...moving quickly increases the chances of mistakes. The propose is to limit the likelihood of mistakes. If you move slowly you know that you can KEEP moving...don't get ahead of yourself.
calculated...make sure you think about what you're doing while, and before, you're doing it. Plan out your moves carefully. Speak carefully, act carefully. A misstep is a step not calculated.
Intent...know where you're headed and move toward that heading, plodding without deviation. Fear is the enemy of intent. A strait line is them most efficient shape, and an arrow is meant for a destination.
move slowly, with calculated intent my friends. It's what I tell myself everyday, and it's what you should to.
Never stop, never give up, never deviate from the things that you HAVE to do, and you will be a success (if even in your own eyes).
Much love,
M.
